Social and Cultural Programme

In addition to attending lectures and tutorials, participants will get the chance to tour Paris with a professional guide and see some of its most renowned landmarks and cultural icons. Visits are included in the tuition fees.

The Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, “a store of new and useful inventions”, is a museum of technological innovation. Foucault’s pendula, Louis Blériot’s plane or the Machine of Marly (irrigation system to bring water to Versailles Palace for the fountains and extravagant shows) will hold no secret for you after this tour!

Why is Montmartre so famous across the world? What makes it so particular and what gives it its village atmosphere? Discover the hidden gems of the neighborhood with your guide, who will unveil the mystery for you!

Summer Schools at CentraleSupélec are also an opportunity to network with peers from all around the world. Social activities are being organized throughout the programme to let you interact with fellow future engineers and know more about the country you are being immersed in. Welcome event

Get to know your peers and your instructors at our welcome ceremony! As the Summer Schools of CentraleSupélec are a great celebration of diversity, participants will get the chance to present their countries, its traditions or anecdotes, its costumes or particular dances. Take a chance to learn more about France too and brush up on your French!

French cuisine

Get a taste of French cuisine and enjoy a lunch at a typical crêperie in Montmartre!

Closing ceremony

As the Summer Schools come to an end, you will be awarded a certificate of participation. It will also be the opportunity to congratulate the winners of the challenges, who will be awarded a special prize. The closing ceremony is followed by a farewell cocktail celebrating your new international friendship network!
